Want to help the Veteran community but don't have a lot of time?

As an Event Volunteer, you will assist with special events organized and supported by Soldiers' Angels. These events may include:

· Luncheons

· Parties

· BINGO

· Movie nights

· Donation preparation - packing hygiene kits, items for patient visits, care packages for deployed Servicemembers, etc.

· Events to boost the morale of patients (both in and out) of the South Texas Veterans Healthcare Systems

Additionally, you may be asked to assist with special events in the community, such as fundraising events, local Stand Downs (for homeless Veterans), and events with our community partners and donors.

Tasks related to events may include:

· Set-up / Clean-up

· Patient Assistance

· Meal Service

· Event Photos

· Lifting and carrying equipment / donations

Event Volunteers will work collaboratively with the Event Coordinator and other volunteers to ensure that all events are safe, fun, and enriching for our Veterans.
